Provides legal support; assists senior Management, and outside counsel with Compliance Departments, business management staff, and consultants with Recruiting, Sales and Marketing, Immigration and commercial law matters, and with other legal areas as assigned.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS :
Develops and demonstrates expertise in laws, regulations, and practices in areas of responsibility to effectively perform legal functions as assigned.
Analyzing documents for content relevance regarding legal issues and create reports/synopsis to assist outside counsel.
Meticulously verify and organize files, documents related to the assigned areas of law in the proper order.
Consults with the outside counsel as appropriate in areas of responsibility. Assists the outside counsel in responding to governmental regulatory inquiries and investigations in areas of responsibility.
Conducts legal training programs for business personnel in areas of responsibility. Develops cooperative and effective working relationships with Compliance Department and business management and staff in areas of responsibility.
Responsible for understanding and complying with applicable quality and safety regulations. If accountable for the work of others, responsible for ensuring their understanding and compliance.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: Baccalaureate or a higher Degree in Law. Required to travel when necessary.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: Strong academic record in law school, preferably from a leading law school.
Demonstrates flexibility and success working in a fast-paced, change-oriented environment. Demonstrates strong business acumen.
Demonstrates skills and ability to influence and leverage relationships.
