Recruitment Fraud Disclaimer
It has come to our attention that there are fraudulent recruitment activities taking place, where individuals or organizations are falsely claiming to represent Techwave Consulting India Private Limited (“Techwave”) or using deceptive practices to pose as our company. These impostors may create websites, job portals, or online profiles that closely resemble Techwave’s, in an effort to mislead unsuspecting job seekers. In some cases, they may request payments for technical evaluations, job applications, equipment, or other services in an attempt to defraud individuals.
Please note that Techwave will never request any form of payment during the recruitment process, whether for interviews, evaluations, tests, or any part of the employment application. We will also never ask for sensitive personal or financial information such as your bank account details, or any other confidential information during recruitment. If someone asks you for money or sensitive information, please assume that the individual is not affiliated with Techwave.
Things to watch out for:
- No Fees: Techwave does not charge any fees for job applications, interviews, evaluations, tests, or employment offers. If you are asked to pay for any part of the recruitment process, it is likely a scam.
- Official Communication: Any legitimate communication from Techwave will come from an email address ending in “@techwave.net.” If you receive job-related communication from any other domain, treat it as suspicious. Be aware that scammers may alter email addresses or forge the domain name to impersonate Techwave.
- Personal Information: Never share personal, financial, or sensitive information with anyone unless you are absolutely sure of their identity and the authenticity of their request.
- Job Portals: Techwave only posts job openings on our official website and trusted job portals. Be cautious of job listings on unofficial or suspicious websites. Please refer to our website’s career page for the most up-to-date and legitimate job opportunities.
- Unrealistic Offers: Techwave’s job opportunities are either office-based or hybrid. Be wary of offers claiming to be “work from home” with unrealistically high salaries, which are often tactics used by scammers.
We strongly encourage you to stay vigilant and trust your instincts. If something doesn’t seem right, halt communication immediately.
For additional guidance on protecting yourself from recruitment scams and other cyber frauds, you can refer to resources provided by the Government of India. If you believe you have fallen victim to a scam, please report it to your local law enforcement agencies.
Important: Techwave is not responsible for any claims, losses, damages, or expenses resulting from fraudulent activities conducted by scammers.
